Frequently Asked Questions
Here is a list of questions we get asked a lot here at the studio. We thought we could answer them to make it easier for you. If you don’t find your questions answered, please give us a call or send us a message.
Is there a dress code?
Yes all students from preschool dance and kinder may wear any colored dance wear, tights, ballet and tap shoes along with their hair in a bun. Any students 1st. grade and higher must adhere to the following dress code: Girls –Black leotard and pink tights (ballet) tan tights for all other classes. Hair must be pulled back in a neat bun. Shoes for the required class must be worn. Boys — all black shorts and tee shirt along with the required dance shoes.
When is tuition payment due?
Tuition payment is due the first week of the month. Any payments received after the 10th of the month will be charged a $10 late fee.
Are parents permitted to watch class?
Classes are closed to students only. A few times during the year, parents are invited in to see their child’s progress.
Is there an end of the year performance and what will I need to purchase?
Yes we do an end of the year recital at the Ocean City Music Pier. Students that participate are required to purchase a dance costume and parents can purchase tickets for the performance. Students are not required to participate in the recital.
What if my child is sick are there make up classes?
Yes, you may make up any missed class(es) within two months. Please schedule with Miss Mary Beth a make up class.
